Even the finest watches show signs of time. Whether it’s a patinated dial, a scratched case, a damaged movement, or simply natural aging, a complete restoration brings back the brilliance, precision, and lasting value of your watch.
Watch restoration is not just about appearance — it fulfills a deeper need for technical, emotional, and heritage preservation.
Deep scratches, oxidized dial, bent hands, or a jammed movement… These signs of wear are not only cosmetic — they can compromise your watch’s proper functioning. A restoration allows us to address these issues thoroughly, bringing each component back to standard while preserving the integrity of the timepiece.
Some watches are meant to last generations. Restoring a watch is about more than saving an object — it’s about preserving its story. Whether it’s a family heirloom, a rare vintage piece, or a watch that marked a moment in time, restoration allows you to extend its life and keep it fully functional for years (or generations) to come.
Bringing a watch back to life doesn’t mean erasing all signs of age. Depending on your wishes, we can restore your watch as close as possible to its original state when it left the workshop, or preserve the patina and authenticity that give vintage pieces their unique soul.
We provide restoration work on the following components:
The dial: cleaning, retouching, or full restoration based on the style and period
The hands: straightening, replacement, or refurbishment according to authenticity
The movement: full overhaul, component replacement, precision adjustment
The case: polishing, soldering, surface treatment, engraving restoration
The bracelet: replacement, restoration, or custom fitting
Complete inspection of the watch and creation of a tailored estimate.
Separation of the case, movement, dial, and hands.
Ultrasonic cleaning, deoxidation, case polishing, and aesthetic restoration.
Lubrication, adjustment, replacement of worn parts, and precision testing.
Water resistance test, hand alignment, and multi-day functional testing.
Restored watch with warranty, delivered with personalized care instructions.
Some vintage or specific parts require special attention and complex interventions. In such cases, the restoration process may take several weeks—or even months.
At DW&CO, we collaborate with a trusted network of specialized partners (dial restorers, engraving artisans, rare parts suppliers, etc.). These experts are often in high demand by workshops around the world, which may result in additional delays beyond our control.
Our top priority remains the quality and authenticity of the work, even if it takes more time. We keep you informed at every stage and are always available to answer your questions.
